A Call To Prayer

Prayer meetings both corporately and privately have become an obsolete idea in todays society. ... Why is that? ...... Do we still believe God is in control? ......... Do we believe he can alter our situation for good? We have to be careful to keep balance in our spiritual walk through worship, the word, prayer, fasting and daily devotion. We are only 2 steps from our miracle! We must 1st listen and 2nd we must obey! In John 2:1-5 we see this principal in action:   "And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there. The Ruler of my Heart

The wisdom I experience every Wednesday night as I listen to my Bishop teach completely blows my mind! Everything I need, in the moment I need it is right there and it's up to me to apply these principals to my life. Last nights scripture reference was... Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful," We must allow the peace of God to not only rule but govern in our hearts! Remember that Satan does not have the final say! He only has power where we allow him to have it! Even during your worst situation, when you feel all hope is gone and there is no way out, God is there! Our peace is in God! John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Comfort, peace & solace is not found in the world, or even in the people we love. It can only be found in Christ..
